EMN Reception and Treasure Hunt
Tuesday, June 24
6:45 p.m. – 8:15 p.m.

Are you a graduate student or within five years of completion of your highest degree? Then you are warmly invited to attend the Early-Career Members Network (EMN) annual reception!

Join us for a spirited night where you learn more about the members and activities organized by the EMN Committee. We will also host the award ceremony for the 2025 EMN Travel Bursary Award and MetaboART winners.

Following the program, light refreshments will be served, and you’re invited to join the EMN Treasure Hunt—a dynamic, team-based challenge. In groups of 4 to 6, you will navigate the venue, scanning QR codes to uncover and solve questions on a range of topics, including Prague, metabolomics, and more. Teams will have 40 minutes to complete as many challenges as possible. Strategy, speed, and teamwork will be key to success.

MetaboART
MetaboART 2025 is open for submissions! This is a unique opportunity to transform your metabolomics research into visually striking artwork.

This year’s competition features two exciting categories: human-created and AI-generated. Submissions will close on May 31, 2025. Winners will be announced at the Metabolomics 2025 Early-career Members Network (EMN) Reception on June 24.

Conference Dinner
Wednesday, June 25
7:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

What’s a visit to Prague without spending an evening next to the world’s tallest beer tank tower? Join us in the center of Prague at  ČERVENÝ JELEN!

The Cubist-Modernist space was a former bank, created by Josef Gočár between the two world wars, now changed into the unique restaurant by Czech architect Stanislav Fiala. Check-out The Vault, with the original safe door, or the outdoor beer gardens. Červený Jelen has several levels and a warm atmosphere to explore. And of course, there is a DJ to get the dance party started!

PLAN AHEAD! Červený Jelen is easily accessible using the public metro system, followed by a 10-minute walk. Detailed instructions for getting to/from the dinner are available here

You’ll need (2) 30-minute tickets to get to and from the Conference Dinner, 30 CZK per.

Metro Information: Prague has excellent public transportation!

  • Metro tickets can be purchased at the station, but you should purchase tickets in advance to avoid long lines at the ticket vending machines.
  • You can purchase tickets with a credit card at newsstands or the airport when you arrive.
  • You can pay with Google or Apple Pay if you purchase with the app: PID Lítačka
  • If you have an electronic ticket, don’t forget to activate it when you are ready to use it, not before.
  • Consider purchasing a 24-hour or 72-hour metro pass to use during the week, very convenient!

If you are unable to take the metro or walk, we have a very limited number of buses available, first come-first served. Please plan to use the metro if you’re able. Stop by the registration desk if you have additional questions.

The cost to attend the dinner is included with your full-access conference registration. If you have an Exhibit Hall Only or Single Day pass, the dinner is not included in your registration.  Due to space limitations, guests and children are not permitted.
